I'm super excited to have been part of the advocacy to amend the then 75 years old Police Act.

The Bill aimed at making the Nigeria Police more professional, responsive, citizen friendly, gender responsive and respect human rights, among others. It also pushed for a 4-year tenured position for the Inspector General of Police (who is usually hired and fired at will). I can't wait to see what was reflected and what wasn't
