Another side to the #Covid-19 pandemic



First published 17th March 2020. Think about it. Another side to the COVID19:
The beginning of wisdom is to know that you don't know. The new virus leaves us with a picture of gloom and uncertainty around the world. Where not so long ago, we were moving further and further apart, today much more than ever, we can all do with a dose of human kindness.

Where once we were comfortable isolating ourselves from others, today we are forced into isolation and

we miss communal living. We don't have the answers to everything. However amid the chaos is the quiet and silence, asking us to pause and think. This could be a good time to reflect on the quality of our lives. It could also be a signal to allow nature rest a bit and revive itself from the pitter patter of our feet and the disruptive vibes our movements create.

Not everyone is under lockdown and not every economy has been badly affected by the global crissi.  While  some establishments  have plummeted,   others have either sprung up or rebranded . There are still Organizations out there looking for new skills and a diverse workforce. If you are not employable today, don’t expect to get a new job. If your skills are not relevant to the needs of today, you may not be considered relevant. It’s a hard and harsh fact but we need to tell ourselves the truth. Call me the TOUGH LOVE sister  😊  if you may. WE need to take our job security or cash inflow into our own hands. In today’s uncertain times of massive pay cuts and job losses, we can’t help but learn new skills or dust old ones. Many have come to grapple with the reality of putting aside skills and experiences which may have made them champions or the best staff of the year before the pandemic.
